This month we would like to introduce the one and only Joan Viscusi, aka Mama Joan!
She is the voice behind the phone calls to all of our clients to ensure their visit with us was the spa experience they expected. The one who wants to hear from you to enhance your future services with us. She is the elegant, wonderful, full of energy women who greets our wonderful guests every Monday and Tuesday.
She is also the mother figure to all of the Bella Team. Her wisdom through her years has proven to not only help us grow Bella Nani but helps us grow as individuals. Joan is not only beautiful outside, with ageless defiance, but can run circles around most of us at the Spa. She is truly beautiful inside as well and she gives real meaning to our tagline. “Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful” with her generous heart, stylish wardrobe, endless energy, humour and willingness to help in any capacity she can both within the Spa and with each of us individually.
The best way to describe Joan’s background is not only mom to 6 children, loving wife to Tony but also the Queen of Hop! Joan not only is one of the friendly faces you see when you enter Bella Nani but the owner of her own company, Top Hat Entertainers. Top Hat Entertainment is a not for profit group dedicated to entertaining the elderly community through song and dance. Joan has been dancing since she was 5 years old in various genres of dance from tap to jazz with her own contemporary flair added with her “sas” and class!
She truly is an inspiration to all of us at Bella Nani. Here is what some of our Bella’s have to say about Mama Joan:
“From the moment I first met Mama Joan she treated me like family and it made me love my decision to be at Bella Nani even more”
“ She’s the kind of person who you know will be in your heart forever”
We believe one of Audrey Hepburn’s quotes can sum up Mama Joan in only the elegant way Audrey Hepburn was…
“The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.” Audrey Hepburn
