Yes, it’s that time of year again, the start of the most wonderful season of them all…FALL! Well at least for me! I love Autumn and the Autumn Equinox is such a meaningful time of year to not only honor the planted harvest but the harvest of your efforts and intentions your life path has had earlier in the year. And let’s not forget pumpkin spice everything!
Nights are getting cooler but the days are still warm and to me there is something magical in the sunlight this time of year. It seems silvery and more comforting as it is not so direct.
This is a time when “things” are coming to an end to recycle and rejuvenate. Take time to look back not just on the past year, but also your life and plan for the future. Just as the trees are letting go, so shall we.
Autumn is a typically a season for balancing light and dark and letting go. Of pausing and reflecting. Far to often we fear the dark, where instead we should embrace the darkness as a palace of silent nurturance.
Reflect during this time – What am I holding on to? What am I willing to let go of? Embrace the beauty in letting go! But don’t forget your cheerleaders! Relish in those who love, respect and cheer you on!
Fall is a time to set up your own internal space and make room for what is to come. Prepare for this next season but not by doing but by becoming quiet and listening to what is trying to emerge from within. Envision a peaceful place where those who have hurt you are removed, situations that are stressful are not of matter and only bliss and peace surround you. Release negativity, harmful, toxic people, places and things.
To welcome this beautiful and magical season light a candle, burn some incense like pine or myrrh. Give thanks for all that you have, be generous to all living things and express gratitude for being here…now.
Wishing you a colorful, cozy autumn!
Love, Live and Be Well my friends!
